About The Sassy Cowbird

As a retired teacher, artist, and lifelong creator, I've always enjoyed bringing ideas to life through creativity. The Sassy Cowbird is named after a favorite childhood memory from Southeast Texas. During family road trips, I loved spotting birds perched on cattle, later discovering they were egrets. That memory inspired the name and the original creations I share today.

Today, I channel that passion into handmade décor, paper crafts, and original designs inspired by tradition and seasonal celebrations. 

Through handmade artistry and thoughtful design, I strive to create pieces that bring character and charm to any space.
